Sharpen your skills in my color mixing workshop. You will concentrate on color mixing for cool and natural colors (blues, greens, and browns) in a fabulous Florida coastal piece. Apply what you learn immediately through your own piece while being supported by the instructor. Several different options will be provided for students to pick from for their reference photos.
In this hands-on workshop, we will discuss color mixing through acrylics. Including, selecting a good subject to paint, tips for working with acrylics, and color mixing. You will specifically be working with learning to mix cool colors (blues, greens, and browns).
Attendees will complete a step-by-step acrylic painting during the workshop.
Material List:
11x14 canvas (stretched or canvas panel is fine)
Acrylic Paints: (Liquitex or Golden are recommended)
Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Umber, Lemon Yellow or Cadmium Yellow Light, Cerulean Blue, Burnt Sienna, Titanium White.
Acrylic or Mixed Media brushes (various sizes)
