The Matters of the Heart
The Matters of the Heart
We tuck, we stuff, we ignore, we blame.
I’ve done it. You’ve done it. We’ve all done it.
As a wife and mom, I learned that what looks clean on the surface often hides chaos underneath. Drawers overflow, closets spill out, and eventually the mess has to be faced. Life taught me something through that: our hearts work the same way.
We push pain, emotions, and memories into hidden places, hoping they’ll disappear. But they don’t. They quietly affect our relationships, choices, and peace.
The beautiful truth is this—God is patient and kind. When we invite Jesus to be King of our hearts, He doesn’t shame us for the mess. He gently helps us sort through it, bringing healing, order, and freedom where there was once clutter.
And little by little, as we trust Him with every hidden corner, our hearts begin to feel lighter, freer, and more at rest—just as He always intended.
My sweetest desire is to walk alongside you as we grow together in the love of the Lord. Our hearts can be fragile and easily distracted, always in need of gentle reminders of who He is—and who we are in Him. When we take the time to bring the matters of our hearts before Jesus, He is faithful to complete the work He has begun within us.
