"Stay the Course"

Sometimes the promises of the Lord can feel like they’re taking far longer than we expected—like they may never come at all. I know I’m not the only one who has felt that way.
Earlier this week, I brought everything in my heart before the Lord—my expectations, disappointments, and hopes—and laid them at His feet. I surrendered them again, recommitting my heart to Him alone. Not to outcomes, not to people, not to timing—but to Him.
I told Him that my trust is found in Him and not in the things or circumstances around me. That He alone holds my future and my heart, and I choose to wait and trust in Him.
As I prayed, I sensed a gentle whisper in my spirit: stay the course.
I know that word was for me—but I also believe it may be for you.
You can trust His timing, His plan, and His heart.
“But the one who endures to the end will be saved.”
—Matthew 24:13 (CJB)
