The Color Collective Workshop
June 1st-3rd
9 AM -12 PM
Adults (16 years or age and up)
Level: Beginner/Intermediate
Join us for a creative learning experience where art, faith, and discovery come together in a peaceful, inspiring environment. These workshops invite students to slow down, explore, and create while learning foundational art skills and reflecting on the beauty of God’s creation.
Students will explore artistic expression through nature-inspired themes and color theory, working primarily with acrylic paints or oils to develop confidence in mixing colors, understanding how colors interact, and creating rich, layered artwork using limited palettes.
Throughout each workshop, students will discover how all color can be derived from three primary colors, a beautiful reflection of simplicity creating abundance within God’s design. Special attention is given to understanding how light influences color, value, and depth, helping students learn to create vibrant, luminous artwork through intentional color mixing and layering rather than relying on black and white alone.
Each class includes hands-on creative exploration, guided instruction, and quiet studio time to develop personal learning. Students will gather inspiration from nature to create meaningful artwork that celebrates beauty, growth, and creativity as a form of worshipful expression.
This is more than an art class — it is a creative retreat where students can relax, experiment with new techniques, build artistic confidence, and grow in appreciation for the beauty found in creation and creativity.
-Students will need to bring their own paints; all other materials will be provided. Supply list will be sent upon registration.
-Light refreshments will be available.
-Class size is limited to 10 students to ensure a relaxed, supportive learning environment.
